Director of Operations

Location: Washington, DC
Analytica is seeking a hands-on Director of Operations with strong back-office (finance, contracts, HR, PMO, proposals, etc.) operations experience in consulting / IT government contracting for our DC Headquarters. Individual will lead a consulting focused back-office operations team, ensuring quality delivery, customer service, and project and program profitability.  The individual will also oversee process improvement programs, from cross departmental process activities to CMMI. 

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding and be comfortable operating across finance, accounting, contracts, human resources, proposal operations, and business development to help proactively drive infrastructure needed to scale to a 300-person consulting firm.

Skills, Experience, and Other Job-Related Requirements:
Minimum Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university
  • MBA or Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience and prior government contract project and program management experience required
  • Strong sense of urgency and focus on details, with the ability to define and execute against a vision of what is needed to scale an organization from under 100 consultants to 300+
  • Experience working for a rapidly growing government contractor and being able to do and lead at the same time is required
  • Comfort and experience assessing and applying new technologies to address process, automation, and efficiency improvements a strong plus

 Additional Requirements:
  • The ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the enterprise and to work with both technical and non-technical individuals
  • Effective written and oral communication with multiple levels of leadership involving both business and technical sides of the business
  • The ability to deal with ambiguity and a changing environment, as well as a rapid work pace
  • Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills
