Federal Business Development Analyst

Bethesda, MD
Analytica is seeking a Federal Business Development Analyst to support our growing headquarters office.   Analytica has been recognized by Inc. Primary Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Necessarily Limited To): 
  • Identifies, researches and supports the response to Request for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs) and Sources Sought notices issued by the Federal Government using a variety of opportunity portals such as FBO, eBuy and others
  • Conducts partner and competitive research using USASpending, Excel and other sources
  • Supports developing marketing materials, email campaigns and outreach activities targeting federal government customers and partners
  • Calls partners and customers to establish one-on-one meetings with Analytica executives
  • Supporting by targeting potential bidding opportunities, maintaining current relationships, creating presentations designed to enhance market understanding and coordinates networking events
  • Facilitate consistent, organization-wide sharing of knowledge (through written reports, charts and graphs, electronic business intelligence support tools, and oral and visual presentations, etc.) on the competition, market trends, and various findings
  • Conducts special research projects and other activities for account managers and senior executives
  • Supports maintaining accurate information within internal business and marketing systems
 
Qualifications:
  • BA / BS in business, computer science, information systems, or other related degree
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a sales support or proposal related role. Ideal candidate will have prior federal government contractor experience
  • Experience using FPDS, SAM, GovWin and other research platforms
  • Excellent organization and attention-to-detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office, including Excel skills
