.NET Developer

Analytica is seeking a .NET Developer to support a federal government client in Washington, DC.   Analytica has been recognized by Inc. Responsibilities include (But Are Not Necessarily Limited To):
  • Redesigning VB.NET web application to a recent ASP.NET MVC framework /ASP.NET MVC 5
  • Utilizing Entity framework while redesigning a legacy site to ASP.NET MVC 
  • Enhancing an existing feature or adding new pages with its backend (both SQL and code behind development) to an existing legacy site
  • Utilizing ADO.NET during enhancement
  • Resolving bugs whenever there is with an existing legacy site
  • Redesigning an existing database mostly adding new schemas when needed and performing all SQL related tasks (writing store procedures, creating views, triggers) procedures
  • Rewriting console or windows form application written in VB to a C# based application
  • Able to utilize Oracle database and familiar with Toad or Software Provide business analysis and develop ETL code and scripting to meet all technical specifications and business requirements according to the established designs.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Eight plus years of experience .NET platforms including C#, VB, ASP.NET, VB.NET
  • Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery Ajax
  • Experience with CSS, bootstrap
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC (minimum of 3 years’ experience)
  • Experience with SQL queries (must have designing skills, writing, understand the database)
  • Experience with Entity framework
  • Experience with dependency injection, Nunit
  • Experience in utilizing software design pattern including Singleton, Factory, Façade 
  • Experience with SharePoint development
  • Experience with restful Web-Services includes Web API
  • Experience with utilizing external APIs Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related field
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an MBI Public Trust Clearance
  • Must be a Green Card holder or U.S. Citizen to obtain the MBI Public Trust clearance
