Configuration Manager

Analytica is seeking a Configuration Manager to support a federal government customer in WashingtonDC. The candidate will be responsible for version control management, managing operating environment servers, and operating systems for the federal client.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to): 
  • Physical client and server hardware products and version management 
  • Operating system software products and versions
  • Assist in implementing hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures
  • Assist in the use of configuration management tools to store, track, and manage configuration items
  • Understand basic concepts, and assist in documenting hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures
  • Implement hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures
  • Understand basic concepts, assist in maintaining and developing the environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing and integration
  • Assist in defining and implementing hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures; such as creating product build scripts and procedures, and integrating those scripts with the hardware and software build process
  • Application development software products and versions
  • Technical architecture product sets and versions as they are defined and introduced
  • Live application documentation, products, and versions
  • Definitions of packages of software releases
  • Definitions of hardware base configurations
  • Configuration item standards and definitions

 Basic Requirements:
  • At least 5 years professional configuration management experience 
  • At least 2 years experience supporting a federal government customer 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD Suitability clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain the security clearance
