Project Manager/ Business Analyst

Analytica is seeking a Business Analyst/Project Manager to support a federal government customer engagement in the Washington DC metro area. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with clients in both a consulting and delivery capacity to tackle complex data transformation projects. The candidate will also support projects in a project management role.

Responsibilities include (But Are Not Necessarily Limited To):
  • Assist in producing metrics that measure performance success, business explanations behind model decisions, and full implementation into client environment
  • Lead briefings and presentations to client, which establishes an understanding of work to be accomplished, milestones for iterations based on agile principles, and meeting minutes
  • Help and lead in obtaining detailed understanding of current tasks, business processes, and legacy systems used by client for risk assessment and workload selection
  • Produce monthly status reports detailing technical tasks, progress of work accomplished, remaining tasks, outstanding problems, work planned for following month, along with other details are required by client
  • Provide monthly executive briefings to client and hold bi-weekly meetings with client project manager to review project status
  • Responsible for overall management and coordination of project and act as central point of contact with the government client  
Basic Qualifications:
  • B.A. or B.S (degree in business, engineering, or related area of study is a plus)
  • 10+ years’ experience in federal government consulting, agile project or project management role
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with clients, technical SMEs, and other project team members to establish, monitor, and perform against requirements and deliverables
  • Strong data analysis background with the ability to understand different trends/patterns and act on them appropriately
  • Proven leadership and communication abilities
  • Work independently with minimal help
  • Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak the English language
  • Software project management, workload selection, and case management experience desired
