ANALYTICA is seeking a Data Architect/Data Engineer to support a federal government client in Baltimore, MD. As part of our Data Architecture team, you will work with a diverse group of sophisticated professionals to research and analyze the modern data architecture and modeling trends and patterns in the industry. The client currently permits remote work but is expected to require at least part time work in the Analytica office in the future.
Responsibilities include (But Are Not Necessarily Limited To):
Consult and advise on the data architecture and modeling techniques with project teams
Lead, develop and advise data architecture and modeling standards and guidelines
Research and adapt new data architecture, concepts, tools, technologies and methods through case studies, market trends or other proven approaches and prepare white papers
Provide direct communication with customers, present to project teams and groups
A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques; play a strong technical contributor role by working/exploring different tools, technologies, and platforms
Convert concepts and ideas into workable prototypes for business review and design validation
Experience with delivering Data (Catalog, Data Dictionary, etc.) solution using open source and COTS products
Participate in all Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, release planning, retrospectives, and customer demos
Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience
7+ years of experience working as a Data Modeler and Data Architect
Experience working with Data warehouse and data marts as well as OLTP systems
Exposure to building logical/physical data models using Erwin or similar tools, SQL
Exposure to Ontology, RDF, Knowledge Graph,
Development or building prototype using Python or similar scripting tools including UI
Strong teamwork abilities, excellent communication, and customer service skills to support various project teams
Exposure to Cloud technologies such as AWS is a plus
Prior experience with CMS is preferred
