Analytica is seeking an Accounting Intern to join our team for a Spring 2022 internship. This position is a part-time internship that will be working primarily remote, with occasional work out of our Bethesda, MD office on an as-needed basis. As an Accounting Intern you will be working with Analytica’s Accounting and Finance team supporting company accounting activities. Applicants enrolled either in their Junior or Senior year at a university or in a graduate program in the Washington, DC area are strongly encouraged to apply.

Provides administrative and clerical support to the Accounting Department
Helps in maintaining and updating the company systems and data for office parking, office access, and phone lines
Helps manage the departmental mailbox and filing system
Assist with processing, verifying customer and vendor invoices according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner
Enter new or update vendor information and subcontractors in the accounting software
Track corporate credit card expenses and help with bank reconciliations
Assist with processing credit card transactions and expense reports
Gathering salary data
Assisting with other departmental duties as necessary
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Familiar with excel functions
Knowledge of general accounting principles
