Data Analyst

Analytica is seeking a Data Analyst to design and structure large data sets, support the launch and implementation of RPA solutions and components. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with clients in both a consulting and delivery capacity to tackle complex, enterprise cloud or on-premises software and technology projects.  Analytica is looking for bright, motivated professionals looking to continue their career in the data analytics field.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Coding skills in languages such as R, Python, and/or SQL
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of data synthesis, mining, gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques
  • Reporting and data visualization skills using software like Tableau
  • Understanding of data warehousing and ETL techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated; takes initiative; willing to mentor junior analysts/developers
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to QA and troubleshoot data
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., SAS, Stata, SPSS) a plus

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or any other quantitative field, Master's preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in data analysis or a related analytical field
  • Firm grasp of analytics best practices, including data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques using languages such as R, Python, and/or SQL
  • Solid data architecture and data management skills, including using large data sets and efficient data query methods
  • Practical experience on RPA tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, etc. (UiPath experience is highly preferred)
  • Forward thinking and keeps current with BI and technologies with the ability to recommend solutions for the path forward
  • R (modeling, forecasting, simulation)
  • Python
  • Tableau (preferred), Power BI, or other reporting and data visualization applications

  • DoD DHA/health care background or experience a plus
  • Experience on M2/MDR/MHS GENESIS a plus
  • US Citizenship required
